Donald Joseph Qualls (also known as DJ Qualls) is a fashion actor and model hailing from the United States. He gained fame due to his work on Road Trip he has since been featured in more than 20 feature films, including The New Guy Hustle & Flow and The Core. The actor has also been featured in more than 22 shows on television including Breaking Bad Supernatural Scrubs Lost Law & Order and others. As a survivor of Hodgkin's Lymphoma, which he was diagnosed when he was 14 years old. Qualls is a fighter. The cancer relapsed after two years. The treatment was so early that it had a significant impact on the body and slowed his growth. As he began to act, financial stability was the ultimate goal. The man had experienced hardship in his childhood. I've lived so frugally over the years that I need to have that financial security or my life feels out of control for me he said in an interview. He looks back on his childhood, and has an urge to do something against the bullying. The cruelty inflicted on him is heartbreaking for him. DJ's dream role would be to become a father on reel and in reality. He isn't chosen by the director to fill these roles, however, he claims. He would like to be a father himself and be able to devote more time to his work and more time to his son.
