Ann Curry
Ann Curry is a photojournalist, journalist and author who has been covering war zones for the past more than 45 years. Her work focuses on human suffering and disasters. Curry has been a reporter in war-zones such as Kosovo Iraq Syria Lebanon Palestine Afghanistan Darfur Congo. Ann Curry is a journalist anchorperson on television and reporter she was born 1956. Curry graduated from high school in 1978 and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism in the University of Oregon. The broadcasting profession began with an intern at KTVL Channel 10 Medford in Oregon. at the age of 22 she became the first journalist female at the station. Then, she stepped into the role of anchor and reporter at KGW which is which is an NBC affiliate station located in Portland. After four years, she was appointed a reporter by KCBS TV located in Los Angeles. The two Emmy Awards were won during her six year association with the KCBS-TV.
